Farmtown (FARM)

Farmtown is a Solana-based cozy multiplayer game tailor-built for the browser and powered by the native $FARM token.

The main gameplay of the Farmtown crypto app for users is to grow plants on their farm, complete orders to earn in-app currency, and expand or buy more seeds to scale their progress. Users can also collaborate and farm together with friends, sharing necessary resources and speeding up development.

There are two main Farmtown game currencies:

• Gold: A common currency used for farm expansion and purchasing non-premium in-game items;
• Stars: A premium currency used to buy crop growth boosters and premium crop seeds, as well as unlock future cosmetics and special items. Stars can be acquired via the native $FARM token, with half of the revenue going to the Farmtown treasury.

Every week, the game distributes a fixed amount of $FARM emissions to users who sacrifice gold, farm points, or levels to climb the weekly leaderboard. To qualify, users must hold native $FARM tokens, purchase the premium currency Stars, and sacrifice in-game resources. Rewards are distributed among farmers based on their share of total resources burned.

Due to its unique rewards and tokenomics mechanics, the game attracted over 11,000 players and over 1,100 farm visits within its first week of operation.
