Umia Finance is an onchain venture protocol built by the Chainbound team, enabling token-native projects to launch, raise capital, and operate with transparent, enforceable onchain governance.
Umia auction platform offers projects a full-stack framework to launch tokens through Tailored Auctions, build liquidity, and manage capital through non-custodial treasuries.
On August 26, 2026, the $UMIA IDO was launched on its own launchpad. Umia token is the first asset to launch through its own auction infrastructure using a multi-stage process designed to enable fair price discovery for every token sale participant.

Umia crypto launchpad provides a full-stack infrastructure for launching, funding, governing, and operating token-native projects on Base Chain.
Umia protocol attempts to solve the issues with token launches, such as capital raised during a sale often ending up under the direct control of a team, MEV attacks and sniping, limited initial liquidity, and poor post-TGE price discovery. The main aim of Umia is to make token raise events more ecological for both projects that raise capital and investors.
Auctions on the Umia platform run as a Tailored Auction. The team took the best from MetaDAO sales mechanics and the Uniswap Continuous Clearing Auction, improved and combined it in own product. The system works as follows:
Any unused funds will be refunded at the end of the auction, and if the raise falls short of the minimum threshold, all funds are returned in full, and the token never launches.
Beyond the auction mechanics themselves, the Umia team designed the auction in a way that makes it structurally difficult for the team to walk away with investor funds. Sale proceeds do not go to a team wallet, it goes to a non-custodial treasury smart contract, and about 20% is automatically locked into a Uniswap v4 LP. The team can only draw a fixed monthly allowance for regular operating costs, any spending beyond that requires a decision market to approve it first, and the outcome executes automatically onchain.
On top of that, the legal structure makes these onchain outcomes legally binding. Team token allocations reinforce this further: a large share only unlocks if the token hits specific long-term price milestones, so every team is motivated to work on a product and develop if they want to receive the full amount of tokens.

🪙 Umia crypto token: $UMIA is the native platform token with the main utility: to govern the protocol, project treasury, and strategic decisions. It is also the first token that will be launched through the Umia auction platform.
The total supply of $UMIA is 50 million tokens. The initial launch supply is 40 million tokens, while another 10 million tokens form a Team Performance Reserve. The performance reserve is not unlocked according to a traditional time-based vesting schedule. Instead, it is tied to predefined TWAP price milestones.
$UMIA token sale runs in multiple stages, starting on August 26, 2026, with the Early Bid stage for whitelisted users. The public stage starts on August 29, 2026, and will last till September 02, 2026. Umia Finance TGE is set to occur shortly after the sale ends on September 2, 2026.
You can find more information about the Umia crypto token on the auction page.
