Sui Foundation Developer Grants

The Sui Foundation Developer Grants Program is a perpetual funding initiative offering ongoing, non-dilutive capital to developers building on the Sui network. Applications are evaluated on a continuous basis, with individual grant disbursements generally ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, alongside potential native token bonuses. Rather than a fixed global pool, funding is unlocked iteratively across multiple evaluation rounds and thematic cohorts.

Historically, the program's inaugural pilot round distributed $415,000 across 12 to 14 foundational projects, while the subsequent second round awarded $230,000 to 8 developer teams. The ecosystem expansion also included a dedicated Education Grants cohort which successfully allocated over $300,000 to 9 community teams. In 2024, the foundation enhanced the initiative by introducing a formalized Request for Proposals (RFP process) for specific tooling and infrastructure gaps.

Interested builders must submit comprehensive proposals detailing their technical specifications, team background, budgeting, and overall community impact. Successful applicants are required to undergo rigorous technical assessments and mandatory KYC/KYB verifications before proceeding to finalize their milestone-based funding agreements.
