Biconomy's Community Node Operator Program Season 1 was a highly technical testnet initiative. Designed to bootstrap a decentralized node network for the Modular Execution Environment (MEE), the program selected 840 community nodes to stress-test infrastructure, process supertransactions, and secure network scalability ahead of mainnet.
Participants applied through official Biconomy channels, with preference given to those holding verifiable DevOps and node operation experience. Selected applicants received testnet ETH and setup guides via a dedicated channel on the Biconomy Discord server.
Operators were tasked with deploying MEE nodes, maintaining strict uptime protocols, and successfully routing mock cross-chain transactions. Continuous diagnostic feedback was submitted to the core dev team to optimize the protocol. Successful Season 1 operators are typically prioritized for future mainnet deployments and Season 2.
