Caldera is a rollup-as-a-service (RaaS) platform designed to unify the experience of creating and deploying Ethereum rollups for developers. It offers developers four main rollup stacks used for creating the majority of existing rollups, along with customized modifications developed by the Caldera crypto protocol.
On September 9th, 2024, the platform announced a quest campaign on the Layer3 launchpad, allocating around $100K for the contest. Considering the strong interest in the event among the crypto community, our team decided to write an in-depth guide on how to participate.

How to join Caldera Crypto Platform - Quest Campaign on Layer3?
To proceed with Caldera quests, log in or sign up on Layer3 and visit the quest page. The Caldera quest campaign consists of 16 mini-quests where you need to engage with the platform and its partners, as mentioned in these vending machine tasks:
As you can see in the picture, not every project has released its tasks yet; they will become publicly available later. However, we expect the tasks, based on their concept and design, to differ significantly from those already available on the Layer3 launchpad.
Additionally, some tasks have deadlines that are much closer than the original campaign end date. If you want to participate in as many quests as possible, we recommend tracking their release dates and completing them as they appear. Still, let’s now examine the projects' quests that are currently available:
- Caldera tasks
This is the easiest part of the campaign. Start by visiting the Caldera tasks, exploring what Caldera is, and completing a quiz and a few social tasks. For completing this part, you will receive a Layer3 Cube and 100 XP.
- Plume tasks
These tasks are already closed, but let's still review what they had required and the rewards for completing them.
To fully clear the Plume quests, participants had to complete social tasks, explore its testnet, and earn over 10,000 Plume points. The 10,000 Plume points could be easily earned by simply signing up and following Plume on X. However, if you wanted to dive deeper into the project, you could complete other tasks, all of which seemed relatively simple:
And that’s all! For clearing the entire quest on Layer3, you could also receive a Layer3 Cube and 100 XP.
- Basement B3 tasks
The final, currently available quest. To complete this campaign, you need to explore what Basement B3 is, create an account, and play at least 3 games on its platform. Similar to the previous stages, completing this stage will earn you a Layer3 Cube and 100 XP.
- Other quests schedule on Layer3:
According to the Layer3 website, within the next 10 days, the following protocols' quests will be released:
- Manta quests: Unlock on September 16th;
- Injective quests: Release on September 18th;
- Kinto and Rari quests: Unlock on September 20th;
- EigenLayer and Goldsky quests: Release on September 23rd;
- Huddle01 dRTC quests: Start on September 25th.
Unfortunately, CoinLaunch didn’t find any info on the other upcoming projects partnered with Caldera as its ecosystem website doesn’t showcase all its partners and its “clients”. That’s why we suggest you keep an eye on the updates on the Layer3 launchpad and participate in the quest once they are released.
