Eclipse SVM is an Ethereum L2 that utilizes Solana’s smart contract execution environment. SVM, and Celestia’s blockchain data availability to enable cheaper and faster transactions.
Although the Eclipse crypto team hasn’t announced any plans to release its own token, considering the previous experience with StarkNet, or zkSync such an event may occur suddenly and at any time. Hence, the CoinLaunch team prepared for you a comprehensive guide on how to participate in a potential Eclipse airdrop.
To participate in the potential Eclipse airdrop, you have three main options: earn Grass points for bridging funds to the Eclipse mainnet, get Grass points by participating in activities in the Eclipse mini-app, and interact with Eclipse network’s dApps.
According to the recent announcement made by the Eclipse chain, users are now able to earn points for bridging the funds to the network. Such a system is kinda similar to the Scroll’s mark session season 0, where users were able to receive marks for bridging assets to the network.
To proceed, acquire two wallets - Ethereum and Solana (for example Backpack wallet), then get $ETH tokens on the Ethereum mainnet, visit the Eclipse bridge, connect the wallet, and send tokens to the Eclipse mainnet.
Once you bridged some assets to the Eclipse mainnet, the most obvious option to increase your on-chain presence on Eclipse is to engage with its turbo tap. It is designed in the game where you are able to send new transactions for every click you make in the Turbo tap app, without the need to confirm every transaction while earning Grass points for every tap.
This way the platform tests out the performance of the blockchain while giving you a clear understanding of how much you contributed to the development of the network.
Eclipse has been launched in the mainnet for quite a while, meaning there are a lot of dAppds and protocols that appeared within its ecosystem. Engaging with Eclipse mainnet isn’t only one of the most effective ways to farm Eclipse airdrop, but also potentially qualifies for the ecosystem partners' contest campaigns or earn yield using on-chain DeFi tools.
As there are a large number of dApps to engage with, we are going to review only a small part, but the most interesting ones, in the CoinLaunch team's opinion. If you would like to explore the Eclipse ecosystem more in detail, check out their “ecosystem” landing page.
Good Luck! 🍀
Download EVM (for example MetaMask) and Solana (ex. Backpack) wallets;
Acquire $ETH in your EVM wallet on Ethereum mainnet;
Visit the Eclipse bridge;
Connect your wallet, proceed with bridging tokens;
Get your $ETH on Solana wallet;
Visit Eclipse Turbo tap, connect your wallet, and engage with dApp to earn Grass points;
Interact on-chain with the Eclipse ecosystem dApps;
Keep engaging with Eclipse until the airdrop announcement;
Get your rewards.
