Fuel is an operating system for Ethereum rollups designed to solve the PSI dilemma. It enables developers to build their own L2 Ethereum networks, offering a more secure approach to creating decentralized apps using its own smart contract execution layer, FuelVM, and a unique coding language called Sway. The first product built with this system is an Ethereum L2 — the Fuel network.
On September 24, Fuel announced the second (mainnet) phase of its points farming campaign, which may be one of the main criteria to qualify for the Fuel airdrop. To acquire points, users need to engage with dApps, hold assets, and spend on gas fees within the network.

How to join Fuel Network - Airdrop (Retrodrop) Phase 2?
To participate in the second phase of the Fuel points farming campaign, you need to bridge your funds either from the Ethereum mainnet to the protocol or use the pre-deposit vault from the first phase of the point farming campaign. There, you have multiple options to acquire more points within the Fuel mainnet:
- Farming Activity Points:
Earn points by actively engaging with dApps built on the Fuel mainnet. This is a great way to potentially qualify not only for the Fuel crypto airdrop but also for airdrops from dApps within its ecosystem while earning additional APR % on your assets. Here is a list of dApps available on Fuel at the moment:
- Mira: A decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol built on Fuel L2. To earn activity points, provide your assets to any of the LPs on Mira DEX.
- SwayLend: An overcollateralized lending protocol on the Fuel network. Borrow and lend assets on the platform to earn activity points.
- Griffy: A decentralized prediction market on Fuel L2. Bet on the Griffy protocol to earn activity points from the Fuel network.
- Spark: A DEX orderbook on Fuel. Trade tokens using leverage on Spark and earn activity points.
- Fluid: An overcollateralized $USDF stablecoin protocol. Provide collateral to the platform and borrow $USDF with zero fees to get Fuel activity points.

- Passive Points:
In addition to activity points, you can also earn passive points by simply holding assets within the Fuel mainnet. For each $1 worth of assets held on the network, you passively earn 1 point per day.
- Gas Points:
You can also earn gas points for each dollar spent on gas on the Fuel mainnet.
- ❗️Loyalty Multiplier
Users who participated in the first phase of the points farming campaign will receive a 1.25x multiplier for Activity and Gas points. At the time of writing, the first phase of the points farming campaign hasn’t ended, and the second phase hasn’t started yet. This means you can still join the pre-deposit campaign on the Fuel crypto network to qualify for the loyalty multiplier.
