Hyperliquid aims to revolutionize the open financial world by bringing it to its custom-built L1 network. One of the first applications built upon it is Hyperliquid exchange, which became one of the largest perpetual DEXs in the industry with over $600M in cumulative revenue.
$HYPE is a utility token of the platform, which is used for paying fees on the network, powering its PoS mechanism, and governance votings. At the same time, the protocol conducts regular $HYPE coin burns, using a share of its generated revenue.
