Lighter is a fully verifiable zero-knowledge perpetuals DEX on its own Ethereum L2 with throughput of around 4,000 to 15,000 TPS. It delivers users high-speed trades, zero fees for retail, verifiable matching/liquidations, and high scalability via custom ZK infrastructure.
$LIT token is used for governance voting on protocol parameters, staking to access liquidity provision, buybacks/burns, fee discounts, and tiered access/priority.
On July 1, 2026, Lighter Exchange has allocated $11M in $LIT as incentives exclusively for Robinhood traders following the Robinhood Chain mainnet launch. Eligible users earn points on perps trades (2x multiplier via Robinhood Wallet, 1x on Lighter web app) that convert directly into $LIT from this pool, alongside 90 days of free gas and zero perps fees.

How to join Lighter DEX - Trading Contest?
Lighter has launched a dedicated instance on Robinhood Chain as the exclusive perps engine inside Robinhood Wallet, bringing on-chain perpetual futures (quoted in USDG) to Robinhood’s 28M+ users.
The core of this campaign is a $11M $LIT rewards pool distributed via a points system: every eligible perps trade earns points that convert directly into $LIT under Lighter’s terms. Trading natively through the Robinhood Wallet grants a 2x points multiplier, while the standard Lighter web app (or dedicated Robinhood instance) yields 1x. Robinhood is also covering gas fees on Robinhood Chain (swaps, bridging, and zero fees on Lighter perps) for the first ~90 days (until around 29.09.2026 for many transactions), creating a near-zero-cost entry for farming.
Access is restricted to eligible jurisdictions (not available in the US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, UAE, Singapore, and certain other regions). Points accrue automatically based on trading activity and are viewable in the wallet interface (subject to Lighter’s smart contracts). There is no fixed prize pool split or capped winners - rewards scale with your points share of the total allocated $LIT. The promotion is fully controlled by Lighter and can be adjusted or ended at their discretion.
Start by downloading Robinhood Wallet, bridging/funding USDG, and depositing margin into the Lighter contract.
Once done, trade perps to maximize the 2x rate while free gas lasts.

Step-by-step Guide
Download and set up the Robinhood Wallet app from https://robinhood.com/wallet/ (ensure you are in an eligible jurisdiction).
Bridge or deposit USDG (or other supported assets) onto Robinhood Chain via the wallet’s built-in bridge.
Deposit USDG margin into the Lighter trading smart contract directly inside Robinhood Wallet.
Open perpetual futures positions (long/short) on available markets (e.g., BTCUSDG, ETHUSDG) with your preferred leverage to earn points.
Prefer trading exclusively via Robinhood Wallet for the full 2x points multiplier (or use https://app.lighter.xyz/ for 1x).
Monitor your accumulated trading points and positions in the wallet interface and continue trading while free gas/zero fees apply.
