Mellow is a liquid restaking protocol that enables the creation of custom liquid restaking tokens (LRTs) with different risk profiles. How to join Mellow Protocol - Airdrop (Retrodrop)?
To participate in the Mellow airdrop, you need to farm Mellow points by depositing funds into the Mellow liquid restaking pools. Additionally, for every Mellow point you receive for depositing funds, you also get Symbiotic points. If you would like to learn more about Symbiotic points and the airdrop, read our contest review.
Currently, there are over 9 different Ethereum LRT vaults available, as well as Ethena's stablecoin $rsUSDe and governance token $rsENA vaults.
According to the project's docs, each of them will have its own risk profile and subsequent APR. Since there are over 11 different vaults, we will cover only the most interesting ones in the CoinLaunch team's opinion:
- Mellow protocol + Renzo + Fuel:
Let's start with one of the most effective ways to participate in the Mellow airdrop and then break down alternatives, as there might already be restaking caps reached.
To utilize this restaking route, you will need to acquire some $ETH, $stETH, $wstETH, or $WETH on the Ethereum chain network, visit the Mellow protocol, pick a Renzo's pzETH restaking pool, deposit funds there and receive $pzETH in return. Then, proceed to the Fuel, and deposit your funds to the Fuel network to start earning $pzETH APR + Renzo points + Mellow points + 2x Fuel points (until the AUG 2nd) + Symbiotic points. 📈.
- Mellow staking protocol + Fuel
In addition to the pzETH LRTs, Fuel also supports deposits into amphrETH, rstETH, steakLRT, Re7LRT, and rsUSDe. By restaking your ETH into the first four pools mentioned above, you will be able to receive LRT APR + Mellow points + 2x Fuel points (until the AUG 2nd) + Symbiotic points.
🔥However, the most effective pool in the CoinLaunch team's opinion is rsUSDe, which will allow you to receive $sUSDe APR + Mellow points + Symbiotic points + $rsUSDe APR + 2x Fuel points (until the AUG 2nd) + 10 Ethena’s Sats per $sUSDe daily!
To participate, you need to acquire $USDe first by swapping your stablecoins on Ethena's page, then stake your $USDe to receive $sUSDe coins. Afterward, restake $sUSDe on Mellow in the $rsUSDe pool and receive $rsUSDe, which you then deposit into the Fuel network.
- $ENA + Mellow crypto platform
Another solid alternative to the restaking routes we mentioned above is $ENA restaking. This is a great way for $ENA holders to earn $rsENA APR + Mellow points + Symbiotic points + Ethena’s 20 Sats per $ENA daily
To participate, you will need to acquire $ENA tokens on the Ethereum network, proceed to the Mellow protocol and restake $ENA to receive $rsENA instead. Furthermore, you can provide $rsENA to any DeFi protocol that has LPs with this token. A full list of DeFi protocols supporting $rsENA can be found here.
- How to find more restaking routes on your own
Although we cannot cover all the possible restaking routes using the Mellow protocol, you can try to explore more DeFi applications and routes on your own, using Mellow's DeFi page. We hope you will be able to find even more effective strategies for farming the Mellow airdrop!
❗️Keep in mind, as the Symbiotic protocol's restaking caps are reached, you won't be receiving Symbiotic points until space frees up and Mellow pushes your deposit there. During this time, you will be earning 1.5x Mellow points as compensation. The same goes for Ethena's Sats; until your funds are pushed to the Symbiotic protocol, you won't be earning Ethena's Sats.
