OpenLedger is a purpose-built blockchain for AI powered by Optimism Stack. It allows users to contribute data to the network in exchange for rewards and then provide this data to companies, but in a more structured and enriched manner. $OPEN is its native token, the main utility of which is staking, governance, rewarding nodes and data providers, and paying for gas fees.
Although the project hasn’t confirmed the upcoming airdrop of $OPEN tokens, the CoinLaunch team assumes it will eventually occur, with the main criteria for the drop most likely to be points earned from the OpenLedger testnet. Hence, we prepared a comprehensive guide on how to join the event.
Similar to the most DePIN protocols in the space, such as io.net, Masa Network, or Intuition, the main criteria for the potential OpenLedger airdrop will most likely be the amount of points earned during the OpenLedger testnet.
Hence, our team prepared for you a step-by-step guide on how you can farm these points and receive the airdrop most effectively:
The main way of farming points on OpenLedger is installing a node on Android, iOS, Windows, or opening it via a Chrome extension. To do so, visit the OpenLedger testnet page, and sign in with Google.
Afterwards, go to the testnet dashboard and click on the “Download nodes” banner.
There, choose the supported operating systems of the nodes, download one of them, and sign in to the node there.
❗️ Note: Currently, the sign-in option is disabled, as we assume only the whitelisted users can sign in for participation in Epoch 2. However, it is most likely that soon the OpenLedger will open access to everyone, and that’s where you can jump in. Follow OpenLedger on X or Discord to keep an eye on any updates regarding the testnet.
Another option to earn points is to complete tasks from the projects on the “Missions & Rewards” page. However, as of now, there are only a few social tasks and daily checks in.’
In addition to the classic social tasks, you can also invite friends via your own referral link and earn 10 points for every new user.
Although there’s no information on whether points are granted for this action, we still recommend trying to create an AI model, especially if you’re already familiar with such tasks. We assume that creating AI models on the platform during its testnet phase will help test its functionality, and as a result, you may be rewarded with a share of the OpenLedger airdrop.
Good Luck! 🍀
