Arcium is a parallelized confidential computing network that provides developers and decentralized applications with a trustless and configurable framework to run encrypted computations. It acts as the privacy base layer for blockchain transactions, enabling compliant privacy for users and merchants while maintaining full composability with existing protocols and ecosystems.
The native token ARX powers the network by incentivizing validators through staking, facilitating payments for encrypted compute resources, and enabling governance participation.
In May 2024, Arcium completed a $5.5 million strategic funding round led by Greenfield Capital with participation from tier-1 investors including Coinbase and Heartcore Capital, bringing the total capital raised to $9 million at the time.
