dTelecom is a decentralized computing marketplace where developers and AI-agent products buy node capacity for live voice, video, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and translation, as well as AI agent payments via x402. It is powered by the horizontally scalable WebRTC Selective Forwarding Unit (SFU) that delivers enhanced latency - up to sub-100ms.
$DTEL token is a native token of the platform that is going to be used for node staking, transaction fees, governance, and payment discounts.
peaq said that dTelecom completed milestone 1 of its DePIN Grant on 22 August 2024, covering peaq SDK decentralized identities plus infrastructure testing. On December 30, 2025, the company claimed it had already secured the grant from peaq, though there were no confirmations from peaq regarding receiving the grant.
