Movement Labs is an Ethereum rollup SDK powered by the Move programming language, originally designed by Facebook to enhance blockchain application security and the MoveVM execution layer. The first product from Movement Labs is an Ethereum ZK-powered L2 network, M2, with parallel transaction processing and dual EVM and MoveVM support. It offers extremely low gas fees and high performance while maintaining EVM compatibility.
On May 1st, 2024, the protocol closed a strategic funding round with Binance Labs to bring smart contract security and parallelization to Ethereum. Traditionally, Binance Labs did not disclose the amount of funds invested.
