- CardStarter claims to be the first insured launchpad, thanks to Cardstarter's Insurance Treasury. It is a risk-mitigation mechanism to protect community members in case of project failures.
- Token Vouchers are a feature provided by Cardstarter to assist projects that intend to launch on various blockchains, including Cardano. It’s a convenient way for investors and users to participate in the project's offerings without having to deal with different blockchain ecosystems directly.
- CardStarter offers incubator/accelerator services. When filling out the form to launch IDO on CardStarter, applicants can choose between a regular IDO launch or incubation. Successful project applicants gain access to the Cards Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides them with developmental resources, including branding, security audits, community building, and more.
In 2022 CardStarer had a dispute with SundaeSwap, DEX also running on Cardano, which led to losses of CardStarter users. The dispute arose from promises made to investors regarding rewards and token conversions, which weren’t fulfilled. In their tweet, CardStarter promised to keep fighting for the CSWAP community, but there’s not any additional info regarding the case.
