Bitcoin Hyper is a high-performance, low-latency Layer 2 blockchain that implements parallel transaction processing by integrating a Solana virtual machine before settling them on Bitcoin Layer 1, delivering fast, low-cost transactions without burdening the Bitcoin network.  This way, Bitcoin Hyper brings Solana’s speed and developer-friendly environment to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

As part of its ecosystem, Bitcoin Hyper features its trustless bridge that enables users to transfer BTC from the Bitcoin network to its Layer 2. Powered by the Bitcoin Relay Program, a smart contract built on the Solana Virtual Machine, the bridge verifies Bitcoin block headers and transaction proofs. Once verified, an equivalent amount of BTC is trustlessly minted on Bitcoin Hyper’s Layer 2.
