Bitlayer is a Bitcoin Layer 2 solution utilizing a BitVM - verification mechanism intended to increase the scalability of the Bitcoin mainnet while maintaining the same level of security as Bitcoin. Additionally, the project proposes a Bitlayer Bridge that enables users to make transfers across BTC and EVM networks to the Bitlayer network.

$BTR is the native utility token of Bitlayer, used to reward ecosystem participants and enable community-driven governance through proposal voting and protocol adjustments.

Bitlayer crypto project has successfully raised $25M from Polychain Capital, Framework Ventures, OKX Ventures, GSR, and others. And aims to raise $6M via ICO round on Coinlist.
