Boundless Crypto Network (ZKC)

Boundless is a fully decentralized ZK-powered protocol that combines smart contracts, advanced cryptography, and off-chain infrastructure to create a permissionless marketplace, enabling secure, efficient, and reliable execution for any blockchain by turning compute into a financial asset. 

In Boundless Requestors publish tasks for generating zk-proofs required by their applications or smart contracts. Provers – GPU or other hardware operators – compete to execute these tasks in an open marketplace. Rewards are paid simultaneously with proof verification on the target blockchain.

Boundless ZK Protocol introduces the following features:

• Proof of Verifiable Work (PoVW): a mechanism that objectively measures computational complexity and issues token rewards only for actual useful work performed (akin to “ZK mining”);
   
• Financialization of compute: Boundless turns computational power into a tradable commodity, where supply and demand are balanced through crypto-economic incentives;
   
• Compute marketplace: tasks can be executed on the spot market (one-off proofs) or via service agreements (long-term contracts), ensuring both flexibility and stability;
   
• Openness and decentralization: the software is open-source, and anyone can participate as a prover even on a regular laptop or PC, ensuring a low entry barrier and healthy competition among participants.

Starting from July 2025, Boundless has launched the Mainnet beta, where users can complete social tasks and become Proovers.

Provers stake tokens as collateral to guarantee timely proof delivery, with slashing ensuring economic security.
