DataHive AI is a Solana-based DePIN platform that turns users' idle device resources into a distributed data collection network by crowdsourcing high-quality training data for AI models. Contributors install a Chrome extension or Android app that passively collects public web data while also allowing users to stake SOL through Data Hive's validator for dual yield (SOL staking rewards plus network points).
Those points, split between data contribution and uptime, are expected to convert into a future token at TGE, though the ticker, conversion rate, and full tokenomics haven't been officially confirmed yet.
According to CoinLaunch research, DataHive AI Depin has successfully raised $3.5M from 6th Man Ventures, Raj Gokal, Anatoly Yakovenko, and others.

DataHive AI is a web3 company incubated by Alliance DAO that focuses on building a Solana-based DePIN network supplying high-quality, ethically sourced data for training AI models.
DataHive AI tackles a real bottleneck in AI development: getting fresh, diverse web data when traditional crawlers keep hitting bot blockers and CAPTCHA. Instead of scraping centrally, it turns ordinary devices, laptops, desktops, and Android phones into a distributed network that captures live browsing data as people go about their day.
To get started, users have to simply install a Chrome DataHive extension or the mobile app - data collection runs quietly in the background with no daily input required. The system tracks contribution through two separate point types: Data Points for the actual data gathered, and Hive Points simply for keeping a device online and connected.
On top of that, SOL holders can delegate the tokens to the DataHive AI app's own validator to earn secure the DataHive network and earn yield on top of the points already being accumulated. A built-in referral structure adds another layer, paying out a percentage of points across three tiers whenever someone you bring in stays active.
All of this point activity is positioned as the on-ramp to a future token launch, where accumulated points will convert into the project's token, although the exact conversion mechanics and timeline are still pending.
🪙 DataHive token: $DATA is the native token of the protocol, but as of June 2026, no official tokenomics details have been disclosed, and the launch date has not been confirmed.
In November 2024, DataHive launched an extension and points program, letting users earn points by training AI, staking $SOL, and referring others. Given the active points farming and no token live yet, this setup points toward a future airdrop for early participants once $DATA officially launches.
The CoinLaunch team analysed and identified some pros and cons to consider before participating in future token sales or a potential DataHive airdrop:

📛 Data Hive AI Solana cons:
DataHive AI runs on Solana and builds AI training datasets by tapping into users' spare device capacity across a distributed network. Through a Chrome extension or mobile app, contributors collect public web data in the background, while SOL holders can stake with DataHive's validator to earn both yield returns and points at the same time.
In November 2024, DataHive launched an extension and points program, so users can earn points by training AI, staking $SOl, and referring others. To help users participate, we’ve prepared a step-by-step guide on how to get involved and position yourself for a potential DataHive airdrop.
