Fogo Chain (FOGO)

Fogo Chain Crypto is a Layer 1 blockchain built for high-performance DeFi. It uses Solana-based architecture with multi-local consensus to minimise latency, and its client, built on Firedancer, remains fully compatible with the Solana Virtual Machine. This design enables applications that are hard to run on other chains, including on-chain order books, real-time auctions, precise liquidations, and reduced MEV exposure.

Fogo.io project provides Sessions, letting you use crypto apps as easily as logging in with Google, offering gas-free interactions and secure, time-limited sessions that keep you in control. Its colocation strategy places validators in the same high-performance data centre, producing blocks in just 40 milliseconds for near-instant transactions.

The network runs on a custom Firedancer-based client, optimised for speed, stability, and low-latency communication. Early validators were handpicked for reliability and performance, ensuring a robust foundation from day one. As Fogo grows, the validator set will expand while maintaining elite-level operation.

🪙 Fogo Chain token: $FOGO powers the network by serving as the native gas token. Holders and validators can stake to earn native yield for securing the chain. The Fogo Foundation also accelerates ecosystem growth by funding high-impact projects while partners contribute value back into the network through existing economic agreements.

Fogo crypto project plans to raise $20M in its ICO directly through the project’s official website.

On December 15, 2025, the team initially announced an ICO, but later revised the plan and replaced it with an airdrop. A snapshot was taken of Fogo Fishers, Portal Bridge points holders, and all USDC transfers since the presale announcement, with distribution starting on January 13.
