Hotstuff Labs is building an L1 network infrastructure designed to incentivize the migration of services usually provided by CeFi protocols. It achieves this by employing a pioneering DracoBFT consensus mechanism that lets validators provide fiat on/off-ramps, API verification services, cross-chain bridge operations, and other services natively on-chain.
According to CoinLaunch research, the Hotstuff crypto protocol has secured undisclosed private funding from Delphi Digital and others.

Hotstuff Labs is building a DeFi service-native blockchain infrastructure designed to break the paradigm of CeFi tools managing on-ramp and off-ramp services.
At its core stands a pioneering DracoBFT consensus mechanism built for DeFi apps, with a claimed 75ms block time and 150ms finality, while enabling validators to participate in processes that were previously conducted on-chain. These include payment routing, fiat on/off-ramps, API verification services, cross-chain bridge operations, and execution services for complex financial logic.
This way, Hotstuff crypto network turns "validators can also run side businesses" into a protocol-native model where users directly pay for these services on-chain, as currently most blockchain nodes are paid only for consensus mechanism services. As a result, validators can now compete not on the amount of stake held, but on the quality of services they can provide.

The blockchain has also built its first dapp on its network right at the launch of the chain - the Hotstuff CLOB Perp DEX. Launched in the Alpha stage, it provides users with 9 trading pairs on major cryptos, metals, US stocks (coming soon), and other popular assets across the Web3 and TradFi industries with up to 50x leverage.
As of March 2026, the Hotstuff Perp DEX boasts ~$400K in TVL in its Liquidity Provider Vault, with an offered 100%+ APR and ~$8M in daily trading volume.
πͺ Hotstuff token: As of March 2026, there are no clear plans regarding a potential token release or Hotstuff airdrop disclosed by the team. However, our team assumes that, as with most L1 blockchain networks, the project will eventually introduce its own token to power its chain's economic security via staking.
What's more, starting from February, 27, 2026, the Hotstuff Perp DEX launched a points farming campaign, which will most likely result in a Hotstuff airdrop to the most active Perp DEX traders.
Considering this, the CoinLaunch team conducted a comprehensive review of the Hotstuff crypto project and identified some of its pros and cons:

Hotstuff Labs is building a high-performance L1 network that natively enables nodes to deliver services alternative to network transaction validation directly on-chain. It also introduces the first dapp on top of its chain, the Hotstuff Perp DEX, enabling users to trade futures on crypto, equities, metals, and US stocks with up to 50x leverage.
As of March 2026, there is no information about the team's plans to release a native token. Yet, on February 27, 2026, the Hotstuff crypto project announced the start of its points farming campaign, which might result in a Hotstuff airdrop once the campaign concludes.
