Hyperion DEX (RION)

Hyperion aims to build a unified liquidity and trading layer on Aptos L1, by combining within its app multiple key DeFi features, including:

• Swap Aggregator: A DeFi trading tool that helps users find the best swap routes at the best prices and rates possible across multiple Aptos DEXs. However, the exact DEXs supported were not disclosed in the post;
• CLMM: Hyperion DEX Aptos protocol enables users to provide concentrated liquidity into the protocol. This gives Aptos users the ability to earn higher yield rates by specifying the price range for providing their liquidity. What’s more, LPs can use the concentrated liquidity feature as a price range order, allowing them to gradually enter or exit positions within a predefined price range;
• Vault Strategies: The platform also provides access to multiple strategy vaults, allowing users to earn trading fees and rewards from specific token pairs while simplifying the management of CLMM positions;
• DLMM (coming soon): Soon, Hyperion aims to introduce dynamic liquidity market-making (DLMM) on Aptos, the same approach used by Meteora Finance on the Solana chain. DLMM will allow liquidity providers to not only earn fees within a specific price range but also adjust their liquidity based on market conditions.

Thanks to its innovative approach to liquidity market-making, Hyperion DEX has grown to become the 5th largest protocol on Aptos by TVL (over $110M), with more than $7.5B in cumulative DEX trading volume.

🪙 Hyperion token: The project operates on a dual-token model, powered by $RION and $xRION.

$RION is the native token of the platform, used to facilitate decentralized exchange and settlement among users. Meanwhile, $xRION is a non-transferable governance token that can be obtained by converting $RION to $xRION at a 1:1 ratio.

On July 15th, 2025, the Hyperion Aptos project announced $RION IDO on the fourmeme launchpad via Binance Wallet. It will be the first token sale utilizing the new “Bonding Curve” system. 

Considering this news, our team conducted a comprehensive research on the Hyperion, finding some of its pros and cons:

✅ Hyperion pros:

• Leading DEX protocol on the Aptos blockchain by TVL;
• Balanced token distribution model;
• Relatively small token inflation in the first years after TGE (near 2%);
• Presence of multiple security audits;
• Good SMM and Growth Marketing performance;
• Not a bad network of backers supporting the project;
• Decent network of partners.

❌ Hyperion cons: 

• No info on token price, FDV, and Initial MC;
• Below the average PR, and Influencer Marketing;
• Bad SEO and Marketing Infrastructure;
• Not enough publicly available info about the team.
