Interfold (Enclave) (FOLD)

Interfold (prev. Enclave) is a private data computation network that offers solutions for data processing without exposing sensitive information. In May 2026, the project was highlighted by Ethereum's CEO, Vitalik Buterin, as a generalized solution for minimal anti-collusion infrastructure.

It allows developers to use the platform's infrastructure to build private markets or auctions, private voting and governance, KYC verification mechanisms, or any other apps requiring data protection. With the Interfold network, they can build custom computation logic within the Interfold blockchain infrastructure and then use the app for privacy-preserving data computation.

The project employs the E3 principle, which relies on three core technologies: Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), and Distributed Threshold Cryptography (DTC). This lets Interflow establish the data processing flow as follows:

• Data encryption: The user sends a request to participate in a private round/vote or conduct confidential analytics, and inputs the data to be processed. The platform encrypts this data on the user's device and starts looking for node executors.
• Executor nomination: Interfold's nomination mechanism ensures a "random" selection of data processing executors, then allows nodes to process the data.
• Receive results: The results of data processing are sent back to the user's device in encrypted form, where they are transformed into the desired outcome.

🪙 Interfold token: $FOLD is the native token of the platform, used for bonding to become a node operator, rewarding data processing executors, paying for network services, and governance.

In January 2025, the project held a token ICO under the Enclave name, at a $60M FDV. Then, on June 23, 2026, the Interfold Web3 project announced a $FOLD auction on the Uniswap CCA launchpad at a ~$25M FDV, according to Uniswap Launchpad. Interfold TGE is expected on August 19, 2026 - after a 40-day cooldown.
