Mode Crypto Network (MODE)

Mode is a modular DeFi L2 network built on and secured by the OP Stack. It focuses on establishing a perfect environment for developing new DeFi applications by offering multiple incentivising programs and unique features for users and developers. This variety includes:

• Secured by Optimism: Mode is built on OP stack, which means it derives security power originally from Optimism chain network
• Easy integration: The Mode crypto network is as easy to integrate as any another EMV-compatible chain network into any DeFi application;
• Low gas fees: On the protocol, users are able to enjoy up to 95% less gas fees compared to ones paid on Ethereum;
• Access to the Optimism RPG funding: Through assisting by the Mode ecosystem, developers are able to apply for Optimism’s $2B PGF (public good funding) program;
• Fee revenue sharing: The network offers a revenue sharing campaign through the MODE token airdrops, actively rewarding users and developers for the growth of the protocol.

$MODE is the native token of the Mode network, primarily used for granting access to the governance layer of the platform and incentivizing ecosystem growth through multiple MODE airdrop campaigns.

On the 2nd of May 2024, the platform announced the public launch of its native token and the Mode network airdrop campaign, allocating over 5.5% of the total token supply. Users will be able to claim their tokens starting from 7th May at 11:00 UTC, an hour before the listing of the token on centralized exchanges (CEXs), such as Bybit, Gate.io, and others.

Considering the growing interest of the crypto community in the Mode network and its token, the CoinLaunch team decided to conduct a comprehensive research of the project and found some major pros and cons:

Mode Network’s cons: 

• Relatively high token inflation rate (~17% annually);
• Lack of TOP tier funds invested in the project;
• Moderate Influencer Marketing Performance as for such caliber of project; 
• Weak marketing infrastructure.
