Succinct labs (PROVE)

Succinct is a platform that allows developers to generate zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs for any type of software – like blockchains, bridges, oracles, AI agents, or games - without cryptography or custom circuit design expertise. It works through a distributed network of provers that handle the complexity, so users can simply write their code and let Succinct prove it.

Succinct is advancing the future of verifiable computing through its zkVM, SP1, which enables zero-knowledge proof generation to be as seamless and flexible as traditional software execution. By introducing this next-generation "ZK 2.0" model.

At its core, Succinct consists of three key components:

• SP1: One of the fastest open-source zkVMs, uniquely capable of running standard Rust (with std) and other LLVM-based languages without needing custom circuits. This drastically lowers the entry barrier for developers and allows existing codebases to be proven with minimal adaptation.
   
• Decentralized, Competitive Prover Network: A decentralized auction-based network of provers. Provers stake and compete to fulfill proof requests, ensuring efficient, low-cost, and censorship-resistant ZK proof generation.
   
• Developer-Friendly ZK-as-a-Service Infrastructure. Succinct abstracts away complex cryptography through its plug-and-play proving infrastructure. Developers can simply write their code, request proof, and get verifiable results back - making zero-knowledge accessible for everyone.

🪙 Succint token: On May 19, 2025, the platform introduced the $PROVE token, powering its decentralized zero-knowledge (ZK) proof system. 
 

It’s used to pay for proofs and must be staked by provers, ensuring network security through slashing for dishonest behavior. PROVE also grants governance rights, allowing holders to influence key protocol decisions. Aligning incentives across all participants, it supports a competitive and trustless ZK ecosystem.
