Upshot Cards is revolutionizing prediction markets by combining outcome betting into a gamified, intuitive interface. The protocol abstracts away clunky UX and traditional finance jargon while bootstrapping a more diversified prediction market economy.

The platform turns every prediction outcome into cards, where each card represents a specific event result. These outcome cards can be bought or sold anytime on the Upshot marketplace, as if trading shares like on Polymarket or Kalshi, but in a more gamified, user-friendly experience.

Users on Upshot receive 1 Bonus card and 4 Gold cards with random prediction outcomes. Gold cards have a predetermined value in "Gold,” the platform's main currency, and pay out additional Gold rewards if the card's outcome proves correct. Gold cards also let users build prediction decks and compete PvP-style against other users for the number of winning predictions, with extra rewards on the line.

At the end of each month, Gold can be converted into Upshot XP to participate in cash distributions - then the cycle repeats.

The platform also introduces a second in-game currency, "Shots," earned during pack reveals when opening the Bonus card. Shots can be used to buy Cash cards or Shot cards, the latter paying out more Shots on correct predictions. Both spending and earning Shots grant XP, which ultimately increases a user's cash allocation at the end of the month.

🪙 Upshot Cards token: As of April 2026, there are no clear confirmations from the team on whether it plans to release a native token or an Upshot airdrop. However, as with most protocols running points farming campaigns, there's always a chance the team releases an Upshot Cards airdrop as the product matures.
