As of April 2025, the Ink L2 hasn’t announced any points farming campaign or any other activities directly hinting at the potential airdrop, However, it is usual for web3 projects like Ink to introduce points later and give the most loyal users points retrospectively, plus a bonus as an early adopter. 

Hence, we suggest you follow this flow when targeting the Ink retrodrop:

1. On-chain activities

Engage with the network’s DEXs as well as provide liquidity to the available protocols to potentially earn on-chain points on Ink. The most interesting dapps to interact with are:

• Curve: One of the biggest LP protocols in the Ethereum ecosystem, which means it possesses the most diverse range of LPs to deposit in. If you have free liquidity, that’s a nice way to get both - APR from LP plus Ink airdrop;
• Velodrome: One of the most hyped AMMs and DEXs currently operating within Ethereum L2s. Despite its token having already been released, there may also be additional waves of airdrop while still allowing you to farm Ink retrodrop plus APR.

2. Completing quests

Some of the crypto projects are also conducting airdrops for participating in Web3 quests. As of now, Ink Network runs active quest campaigns on Guild and Layer3. Usually, such quests don’t require too much effort and often consist of tasks such as following projects on X, daily check-in, transactions, etc. 

However, take into account that since they are often simple tasks, a lot of the projects ignore the participants of such quest campaigns when allocating airdrop. This is why we suggest this step not as the main but rather as an additional one,

3. NFT mint

Taking into account the latest Berachain airdrop, the perspective of earning an airdrop through NFTs gained some attention, which is why we also suggest you mint an Ink NFT to potentially qualify for the airdrop or get a higher allocation.
