LayerZero, the omnichain interoperability protocol, has secured $135 million in a Series A+ funding round, valuing the company at $1 billion. The round was led by renowned venture capital firms Sequoia Capital, FTX Ventures, and Andreessen Horowitz.
Additional funding was provided by Coinbase Ventures, PayPal Ventures, Tiger Global, and Uniswap Labs. This substantial investment follows LayerZero's previous Series A funding round in September 2021, which raised $6 million under the leadership of Binance Labs and Multicoin Capital.
