The platform was founded by John Linden, former Head of Studio at Activision, widely known for creating the Call of Duty franchise.
On June 10th, 2021, the Mythical Games crypto startup raised $75M during its Series B funding round from Gary Vaynerchuk, WestCap, and 01 Advisors. The funds were used to build the NFT game engine.
