Omni Network is an L1 protocol designed to connect Ethereum cross-rollup chain networks, driven by the dual Proof of Stake model of the $OMNI and EigenLayer restaked ETH. $OMNI is a native token of the Omni Network, which powers not only the dual PoS but also the governance layer of the platform.
On April 12th, 2024, the company disclosed its seed and Series A funding rounds, which were not publicly disclosed before. According to Binance research, during the Seed round, the Omni Network crypto protocol sold over 9.1% of the OMNI total token supply, raising over $1.638 million. However, the names of funds specifically participating in this round weren’t clarified.
