Roham Gharegozlou is a prominent entrepreneur in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, best known for founding Dapper Labs and developing the Flow blockchain. 

Gharegozlou's entrepreneurial journey began early; he founded his first startup at the age of 14. 

He later attended Stanford University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2008 and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences in 2009. 

In 2013, he co-founded Axiom Zen, an award-winning venture studio focusing on emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence. 

In 2018, Gharegozlou established Dapper Labs, a blockchain and software development company, as a spin-off from Axiom Zen. 

Dapper Labs gained significant attention with the creation of CryptoKitties, one of the first popular decentralized applications (dApps) on the Ethereum network. 

The company further expanded its influence in the digital collectibles market with NBA Top Shot, a platform that allows users to buy, sell, and trade officially licensed NBA collectible highlights. 

Under Gharegozlou's leadership, Dapper Labs has secured substantial funding from prominent venture capital firms, including Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Ventures, Venrock, and GV (formerly Google Ventures). 

In 2023, the company raised $555 million, increasing its valuation to $7.6 billion and enabling expansion into sports, music, and entertainment sectors. 

Gharegozlou has been recognized in various industry lists, such as Forbes Ledger’s 40 under 40 and Technology Innovators’ Top 25 Blockchain Technology CEOs of 2020. 

Beyond his ventures, Gharegozlou is an active investor and advisor to startups, with interests spanning technology, bio-medicine, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
