Digital Asset is a software company that has been building institutional-grade tokenization solutions on the Canton Network blockchain. Canton Network is a privacy-focused layer 1 blockchain that functions as a "network of networks" connecting multiple chains in a secure and private manner. It achieves this by using Daml smart contracts language designed for multi-party applications with built-in data confidentiality.

$CC is the Canton Network’s utility token, used for fees and rewards through a burn-and-mint model linked to network activity.
