Lighter xyz is a perpetual DEX built as an application-specific zk-rollup on Ethereum, shifting order book matching off-chain while proving its correctness with ZK-SNARKs. This design delivers scalable, transparent, and non-custodial trading with a verifiable matching engine that ensures both efficiency and fairness in price discovery.
The project claims to be backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Lightspeed Venture Partners, however, the amount raised is undisclosed.
