SatLayer (SLAY)
SatLayer is a restaking protocol that transforms Bitcoin into productive collateral by integrating Babylon Labs shared security service model. It allows users to restake BTC or BTC LSTs to secure decentralized applications, known as Bitcoin Validated Services (BVS), in exchange for rewards.
On August 22nd, 2024, the project announced a successful closure of its $8M Pre-Seed funding round led by Hack VC and Castle Island Ventures.
