In crypto, media coverage usually focuses on visible outcomes: a product launch, a new funding round, a token, its price performance, or a project's financial results. Yet these events are often preceded by months or years of development, fundraising, team building, and product testing. Some of that activity becomes public for the first time at crypto events, hackathons, startup competitions, and Web3 conferences.

The scale of the largest events shows how many teams, investors, and industry professionals gather in the same place. TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026, for example, expects more than 25,000 attendees from 7,000 companies300+ speakers, and 500+ exhibitors. The conference includes Origins, where teams have 36 hours to build a working product, and the Nexus startup program. Its previous cohort attracted about 500 applications, with 10 projects selected as finalists. Bitcoin Asia 2026 expects more than 10,000 attendees and 150+ speakers. Korea Blockchain Week drew more than 13,000 attendees and 340+ speakers in 2025.

Next to daily market news, events like these can seem secondary. For ecosystem analysis, early-stage project discovery, investment research, or airdrop farming, however, conferences remain an additional source of information on teams, products, and the areas attracting the most market activity. That makes a major crypto conference 2026 more than a place for panels and networking: it can provide an early look at projects and sectors gaining industry attention.

This article covers the main upcoming crypto events 2026. For each one, we look at the dates, location, focus, ticket options, speakers, and other key details.

Why Blockchain Events Still Matter in 2026

Blockchain events can serve as an additional indicator of market conditions. The number of events, level of sponsor activity, and number of participating projects and attendees can indirectly indicate how actively the industry is attracting capital, launching products, and expanding teams. When tracked over time, such crypto conferences can help assess the current stage of the market cycle alongside other metrics.

The same applies at the level of individual ecosystems. If Solana, BNB Chain, or another network regularly hosts Web3 events, hackathons, and side events, this may indicate that the ecosystem has sufficient resources and a high level of activity.

These events can also support research by retail users. Hackathons and startup competitions often feature early-stage projects that have not yet received broad coverage and may be worth further analysis, including for airdrop farming.

For developers and founders, Web3 conferences provide networking opportunities, access to partners and investors, and options for fundraising and product development. For both builders and retail users, they offer another way to understand which topics, projects, and ecosystems are currently attracting market attention.

How to Choose Top Crypto Conferences to Attend in 2026

Don’t choose top crypto conferences only by the size of their posters, but by who will actually be there. The first filter is ecosystem fit. If you follow Ethereum, it makes more sense to attend Devcon: the foundation itself describes it as a conference for developers, researchers, and builders. If you are more interested in Solana, Breakpoint will give you a better sense of what is happening with on-chain capital markets, payments, stablecoins, and institutional use cases.

Second, topics. Not all top crypto conferences are built around the same agenda. Some crypto conferences 2026 focus on trading, while others are centered on security, mining, NFTs, regulation, or startup programs. TOKEN2049, for example, supports startup launches through the Nexus competition and the Origins hackathon.

Third, community. It is completely reasonable to attend an upcoming crypto conference just to hear your favorite speaker live. An in-person presentation, a Q&A after the panel, or a conversation at a side event can give more context than a post on X.

Also, before buying a ticket, check recaps and reviews from previous years, the speaker list, side events, and the audience profile. This makes it easier to understand whether the event is a business trip, a networking opportunity, or just a fun in-person experience in a new country.

Bitcoin Conference

The Bitcoin Conference 2026 is BTC Inc.’s flagship event and one of the most famous across the entire crypto industry. The next major iteration will take place on August 27-28, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention Centre. According to the event page, the organizers bill it as the largest Bitcoin Conference in the world, averaging over 20,000 attendees annually since 2022. The audience brings together developers, miners, institutional investors, Bitcoin infrastructure companies, and policymakers.

The conference focuses on Bitcoin as an asset, payment network, corporate reserve, mining, regulation, and infrastructure. Early-bird tickets range from $299 for a GA Pass to $3,999 for a Whale Pass. Past Bitcoin Conference speakers include Donald Trump, Michael Saylor, J.D. Vance, Jack Dorsey, and Edward Snowden.

The Bitcoin Conference has long moved beyond a purely industry-focused event and become a venue where politics is discussed alongside the market. At the 2024 conference in Nashville, Donald Trump pledged not to sell seized BTC, create a strategic Bitcoin reserve, and replace Gary Gensler as chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). His speech was quickly picked up by major media outlets, and the conference itself became part of the presidential campaign.

In 2026, the Bitcoin 2026 Conference continues along the same path. The Bitcoin Conference 2026 dates and Bitcoin Conference 2026 location remain basic information for anyone planning to attend, and the Bitcoin Conference agenda covers regulation, institutional adoption, mining, infrastructure, and corporate Bitcoin strategies.

Trump's case shows how expectations can affect the market before any concrete policy decisions are made. After his election victory, investors viewed the incoming administration as more crypto-friendly, and Bitcoin crossed $100,000 for the first time before the inauguration. During the first months, that was enough to sustain part of the post-election optimism. The effect later faded as the market began waiting for concrete action from the administration.

Binance Blockchain Week

Binance Blockchain Week is one of Binance’s main in-person events, covering the market, the company’s products, and key topics across the crypto industry. At the time of writing, Binance Blockchain Week has not yet officially announced its full details.

The official website confirms that the event will take place in Bangkok with Binance Blockchain Week 2026 dates on November 28-29, 2026. Limited early-bird tickets are currently available for $19, while the full ticket price is $129.

For reference, tickets for the 2025 conference started at $99 for early-bird access and later reached $600.

The event is closely tied to the Binance and BNB Chain ecosystem, though the agenda typically spans far beyond a single exchange. In 2025, the Dubai gathering covered Bitcoin, institutional demand, stablecoins, regulation, Web3 wallets, on-chain markets, AI, and crypto payments. Key speakers included Richard Teng, Yi He, CZ, Michael Saylor, Brad Garlinghouse, Lily Liu, Raoul Pal, and Pierre Gasly.

Binance Blockchain Week also commands attention due to the makeup of its audience. The conference typically gathers over 5,000 attendees from 120 countriesgenerating more than 2 million livestream views, 200 speakers, and 300 KOLs. In 2024, for the first time, one of the Binance Blockchain Week speakers became CZ, communicating with the community since stepping down as CEO. In 2025, the spotlight shifted to the debate between CZ and Peter Schiff over Bitcoin and tokenized gold.

TOKEN2049 Singapore

The TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 will take place on October 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Organizers bill TOKEN2049 as the largest crypto event, with the website citing 25,000 attendees, 7,000 companies300 speakers500 exhibitors, and over 60% C-level representation. Tickets are already on sale: Early Bird passes are priced at $399, while the Special Access Pass goes for $4,999.

The atmosphere at TOKEN 2049 Singapore is typically less formal than at institutional summits, operating more like a massive crypto Twitter meetup. In 2024, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin leaned into this vibe by performing a song about cryptocurrencies.

Featured projects at TOKEN2049 Conference typically include exchanges, L1/L2 teams, venture funds, market makers, DeFi protocols, stablecoin issuers, payment gateways, crypto wallets, and AI projects. The speaker lineup for 2026 features Balaji Srinivasan, Jeff Yan of Hyperliquid Labs, Adena Friedman of Nasdaq, Eric Trump, Arthur Hayes, Star Xu, and others.

The conference once again runs back-to-back with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix: the TOKEN2049 Singapore dates fall on October 7-8, while the race weekend takes place on October 9-11. As a result, many TOKEN2049 guests stay in the city for over half of the week, including TOKEN2049 side events. This offers another massive networking opportunity through side events, private dinners, parties, and the race itself.

Solana Breakpoint

Solana Breakpoint 2026 will take place on November 15-17 in London. This is one of the largest annual Solana conferences for developers, projects, venture funds, institutional firms, and teams within the Solana ecosystem. Solana Breakpoint stands out from other Solana events 2026 because it frequently serves as the launchpad for major ecosystem product rollouts. For instance, the 2025 edition in Abu Dhabi featured over 75 product announcements, including the mainnet launch of Firedancer, J.P. Morgan commercial paper issued on Solana, and State Street's plans for the SWEEP tokenized fund.

NFT.NYC

The NFT NYC 2026 dates are set for September 1-3 at The Edison Times Square, New York City. This NFT conference focuses on digital ownership, NFT infrastructure, art, gaming, identity, DeFi, RWA, brands, music, and on-chain culture. Organizers have lined up 211 speaking slots12 programming tracks, and the new Times Square Challenge.

The speaker lineup for NFT NYC 2026 is expected closer to the event: applications were open until June 30, with the final roster set to be published in August. Ticket prices for the event range from $399.99 to $599.

In previous years, NFT.NYC featured OpenSeaCoinbaseAnimoca Brands, Polygon, and Immutable. Notable past speakers include OpenSea CEO Devin Finzer and VeeFriends founder Gary Vaynerchuk.

Digital Asset Summit

The Digital Asset Summit 2026 is Blockworks’ institutional conference focused on digital assets and on-chain finance. This year, DAS will feature two events: DAS Asia will take place on October 7 in Singapore, followed by DAS London on November 10-11 at the Hilton Park Lane, London. For both iterations, organizers highlight an aggregate attendee AUM exceeding $3.8 trillion, with over 60% of the audience composed of executive-level professionals.

Companies whose representatives attended DAS in previous years include BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Fidelity Investments, Morgan Stanley, BNY Mellon, UBS, and KKR.

This Digital Asset conference convenes banks, venture funds, asset managers, family offices, market makers, payment companies, DeFi teams, stablecoin and RWA issuers, legal professionals, auditors, and regulators. The DAS conference frequently makes headlines for driving major political narratives. In 2025, Donald Trump addressed the Digital Asset Summit in New York, a milestone Blockworks noted as the first time a sitting US president spoke at a crypto conference.

Mining Disrupt

Mining Disrupt 2026 will take place on July 21-23 at the Miami Airport Convention Center in Miami. This Bitcoin mining conference focuses on mining, energy, data centers, ASIC hardware, AI/HPC, heat reuse, home mining, the repair economy, open-source hardware, and node operations. Organizers note that Mining Disrupt grew out of a Telegram chat for miners and has served as a dedicated platform for the Bitcoin mining industry since 2019.

Mining Disrupt typically brings together major companies from across Bitcoin mining and infrastructure. In 2026, sponsors and exhibitors included CoinbaseBitmainViaBTCAntalphaDigital Currency Group, EMCD, Nervos, OneMiners, and other industry teams.

Access passes include Satoshi, Miner, and Genesis options. General admission includes keynotes, the expo, the opening party, the after-party, a container showcase, a movie screening, and a breakfast buffet. Ticket prices range from $215 to $2,800.

In 2023, the Mining Disrupt conference coincided with Bitcoin block #800000, just months ahead of the halving. Discussions at the time centered heavily on regulation, the right to mine, and spot Bitcoin ETFs. In 2026, the focus will likely turn to BTC sales by the company Strategy.

DeFi Security Summit

The DeFi Security Summit 2026 will take place in Mumbai during Devcon week from October 31 to November 2. Ticket prices and the speaker lineup for 2026 have not yet been released, with the call for speakers open until July 15.

Organizers describe DSS as an event with a Defcon-like spirit, focused specifically on blockchain applications. Since its launch, the conference has travelled across the US, France, Thailand, and Argentina.

This DeFi conference drew over 1,000 attendees to Buenos Aires during Devconnect week. The agenda featured around 100 presentations, panels, and workshops covering blockchain security, formal verification, and DeFi research. Speakers included representatives from Lido, Safe, Aave, Certora, Chronicle Labs, L2BEAT, Coinbase, OpenZeppelin, Matter Labs (zkSync), Arbitrum, and other industry teams.

Devcon

Devcon 8 will take place on November 3-6, 2026, at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. This is the Ethereum Foundation's flagship gathering for developers, researchers, L2 projects, security specialists, and DAOs. The Devcon conference typically signals which technical tracks the Ethereum ecosystem prioritizes. In 2024, Devcon SEA in Bangkok drew 12,500 attendees from 135 countries. Key discussions at the Devcon Ethereum conference centered on L2 scaling, account abstraction, UX, DeFi, stablecoins, privacy, censorship resistance, and real-world applications.

Projects that have participated in the conference in previous years include Arbitrum, Aave, Gnosis, Ethereum Name Service (ENS), StarkWare, Aztec, Gitcoin, The Graph, and Morpho.

This prominent Korea crypto conference frequently extends far beyond the main stage. For context, the 2025 edition drew over 14,000 attendees2,800 companies340 speakers, and featured more than 400 side events. As a result, Korea Blockchain Week side events have become a massive, standalone component of the week, encompassing networking sessions, private meetings, nightlife events, and local gatherings across Seoul.

Top Crypto Events Trends to Watch in 2026

Among the top crypto events 2026, conferences centered on Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum still hold a prominent place. Bitcoin remains one of the industry’s main reference points, so BTC-focused events continue to matter despite the market agenda having moved far beyond Bitcoin itself.

The next major category is Ethereum events. Devcon remains one of the main venues for developers, researchers, and ecosystem teams, and the DeFi Security Summit takes place during Devcon week with a focus on auditing, formal verification, and protocol security.

The second core theme is stablecoins and payments. The Digital Asset Summit zeroes in on stablecoins and global payments, while Solana Breakpoint bridges on-chain capital markets with stablecoins, tokenization, payments, and DeFi. Consequently, broad industry interest in a stablecoin conference, RWA events in 2026 is absorbed by these larger flagship events rather than isolated niche forums.

The third pillar is consumer crypto: NFTs, gaming, intellectual property, corporate brands, and AI. NFT.NYC continues its shift toward on-chain culture, TOKEN2049 introduces the Nexus and Origins hackathons to fund early-stage startups, and KBW maintains its position as the premier gateway to the Korean market.

Meanwhile, hyper-niche trends such as an AI agents conference, a dedicated Web3 gaming conference, or a memecoin conference are more frequently addressed through side events, hackathons, and local community meetups rather than standalone main-stage tracks.

Final Thoughts: Which Upcoming Crypto Event Should You Follow

Choosing the right upcoming crypto event depends entirely on your specific focus. The Bitcoin Conference is best suited for those tracking BTC, mining, politics, and institutional demand. Devcon and ETHGlobal are geared toward Ethereum developers. Solana Breakpoint is the go-to for anyone following payments, stablecoins, DeFi, and products native to the Solana ecosystem. Meanwhile, TOKEN2049, KBW, and Binance Blockchain Week offer a broader scope, bringing together more exchanges, venture funds, startups, market makers, and extensive side events.

The most effective strategy is to choose a conference based on a specific objective rather than picking one at random. For high-leverage networking, major crypto networking events like TOKEN2049 or KBW are a good fit. For deep technical content, look to Devcon, ETHGlobal, and the DeFi Security Summit. For specialized sectors, consider Mining Disrupt, NFT.NYC, or Solana Breakpoint.

Approached this way, attending any crypto conference 2026 becomes less of a routine business trip and more of a strategic tool to instantly pinpoint where the community, capital, and next market-moving ideas are actively converging.
