Miden is a privacy-focused blockchain built to bring confidentiality to on-chain transactions and financial apps, letting users interact with digital assets privately while keeping the security and verifiability of a public chain. There is no live public token and no published token utility yet, but there are some hints from the team about the launch.
On April 29, 2026, the Miden crypto project closed a private funding round of $25M, with a16z, Hack VC, and 1kx as lead investors. On July 2, 2026, Miden Testnet v0.15 was announced. To test the chain, you need to perform transactions and wait for future activities from the team.

How to join Miden - Testnet (Retrodrop)?
To start the activity in the Miden testnet, download the Bread Wallet by Miden, since this is the one and only official wallet that supports the Miden blockchain.
Once you have installed the wallet, go to the Miden testnet faucet page and enter your wallet address in the field, then press the “Send Public Note” or “Send Private Note” button to receive $MIDEN tokens to your balance.
Once received tokens, start using Bread Wallet, send tokens to the other wallet address, do some swaps, and repeat these steps from time to time.
