EigenLayer is a pioneering protocol on Ethereum that enables native ETH and Liquid Staking Token (LST) stakers to opt-in to the protocol's smart contracts and restake their ETH or LST. With the EigenLayer Ethereum restaking protocol, users will be able to add security to the Ethereum network's decentralized applications and reduce costs for AVS to secure their networks. This involves users earning additional returns on their original stake APR in the future.
